Ordinance establishes Provincial Personal Data Card System

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia unanimously approved on third and final reading an ordinance establishing and institutionalizing the Provincial Personal Data Card (PPDC) System of Bataan.

The legislative piece is known as the ‘Provincial Personal Data Card Ordinance of 2022’.

The establishment of the PPDC System will provide a reliable database of socio-economic status of residents of the province for effective program beneficiary identification.

The system will also maximize the use of CBMS generated data while providing for a secured and organized database for relevant socio-economic information on the residents of the province

The Provincial Government of Bataan will use the PPDC System as one of the prime implements in the poverty alleviation drive.

There will be registration of covered residents of Bataan under the system. Board Member Iya Roque sponsored the ordinance with Board Member Jomar Gaza as co-sponsor.
